TIPS, BANGALORE, WHEREABOUTS

Going by experience and the basic human psychology or cognition, if you prefer the word ‘cognition’, Saturday’s are reserved for friends. If a long drive is possible of about 120 kilometers then you guys should definitely visit Shivanasamudra Falls. Earlier, this was known as the Kaveri falls. It is the second biggest waterfall in India and the sixteenth largest in the world. River Kaveri divides into two and these two fall down the rocky cliff as Gaganachukki - the Western falls and Bharachukki - the Eastern falls. You don’t really need to know all this theory, you just need a car, some friends and you’re sorted!

If a drive is not possible, head to an artificial water source in the city. ‘Wonder- la’ is the newest amusement park which boasts of safety, hygiene, technology and imported rides, seen nowhere in the country. The water used in the park undergoes multi-level purification processes which also consist of reverse osmosis. Whoa! This park also houses the largest indoor musical fountain, laser show and the virtual reality theatre. For lunch, you guys can head to the six multi cuisine restaurants in the park. If I can feel the fun oozing out by just writing this, imagine the fun you’d have by being there!

If you still have some ounces of energy left in your tired body, you can head to Brigade Road where you can pick up branded clothes at cheap prices! Yay! Here you can find Nike, Adidas, Reebok, Rockport and Fila shops, all with excellent quality merchandise at reasonable prices. Shopping, low prices and brands, ah seems like a dream. Contrary to perception or what your friends/parents/invisible friends/pets might say, it’s okay to go the cheap-way sometimes! See, browse and grab away! Scream back and tell us how you spent your Saturday.
